Avast, Me Hearties!

What was the weather like with you this morning? Here, I drove to work through a river previously known as the M8. My little Daihatsu Charade acquitted itself very well and a new career as a boat surely awaits. The rain has now stopped but as we all know only too well could start up again any time.

When will summer come back or have we had it?

Just the same here. Although the sun's out and is drying it all up. My plants are swimming in their tubs. The sheep look like drowned erm... well sheep.
Get a landy like me. They're great for going through puddles and annoying other road users!!

Sorry Gwen, but I think that's it.

Just be glad you're not going to Glastonbury.

The idea of a Landy is very appealing I can tell you Crystal.

I think Glastonbury in those conditions would be a nightmare Five Centres. When I last went the weather was significantly better.

This morning was AWFUL! I think that weekend I had in Skye was summer.

This morning was certainly the worst I have seen in some time. At least if that was all the summer we are going to get, you spent it in a lovely location!

I arrived at work with very, very wet trousers. It was not very professional looking.

Rained like a demon here this morning, but blimey, by the afternoon the sun was splitting the sky and a warm glow descended upon the good folk of Lochaber.

I've been in Devon, camping (in a tent!) for the last couple of days. I was hoping to do a little surfing, bodyboarding and swimming.

I ended up watching rain from the inside of my car on Croyde beach car park and listening to rain and gales from the inside of a tent.

I've given up and come home...

My cat got really wet on the way to the vet. A bad start to a bad day ...
This morning almost looked like summer though! But how long for ?

There has been many a time I have arrived to work in wet trousers too Katie. You are tight - not the best look and a bit uncomfortable too.

It was similar here last night Muddy Boots, really warm and then thunder and lightning. Changeable would definitely be the word.

I'm glad to hear that Lochaber got some sun Gari. Hopefully it will stay that way for a bit.

Poor You Valentine. Your camping trip doesn't sound like much fun at all. It looks like the only swimming you would be getting would be inside your tent. I would have given up and gone home too.

Yesterday wasn't too bad Pepette, but there was some pretty nasty thunder in the evening. Today is looking a bit dark too. I hope your cat has recovered.
